History Not everyone agrees on the origin of the Nebolish Mastiff. Of the 80 Mastiff types there are, the Nebolish Mastiff is one of the rarest. These dogs were first bred in during the late 1960s in Canada, and also in the Northwest. The reason for this breed to be developed was to increase the dexterity, the health and life expectancy of the current Mastiff. This was done by crossing the Bull, the Dogue de Bordeaux, the Old English and Mastiffs. Others believe that the Nebolish Mastiff is a cross between the French BullMastiff and the German Boxer.
Characteristics
The Nebolish Mastiff has a presence about him, and they are the liveliest of all the Mastiff breeds. These dogs are wonderful companions seeing that they are so loyal and affectionate. These dogs are also without fear and very good companion dogs.
Temperament
The Nebolish Mastiff is a very well balanced dog that is watchful and distinguished. These dogs do not bark excessively, and they also have a very human like look on their faces. The Nebolish Mastiff is a very loyal dog that is highly trainable. Although they can be quite obstinate at times, they are still very clever dogs. This breed is also without fear, and they make wonderful companions. These dogs are wonderful for the family, but they are also very good working dogs and livestock protectors. The Nebolish Mastiff has a very good nature, and they love to play with children.
Care
These dogs do not require lots of grooming, and they will do fine with an occasional brushing with an efficient brush. They should only be bathed occasionally, and when it is really necessary. Training
These dogs are not well suited for first time dog owners seeing that they are very intelligent and will try to outwit the inexperienced dog owner. It is important to start training these dogs from an early age onwards, especially when it comes to socialization.
